EU-station NL-8486:
During the breeding season you can order fresh-chilled every morning until 10.00 o'clock (Netherlands time) with either Marleen Raaben or Jeannette Benedict-Nijhof. When you send a faxmessage or an email to order semen, please check per Telephone if the order has arrived oke. With the first order always please send us the name of the mare owner, and name and studbooknumber of the mare!!! When the semen is shipped with a special courier like TNT or UPS please call us so we can give you the correct airwaybill number so you can trace the package early the next morning. Please take into account that the government veterinary is in our EU-station until 10.00 o'clock in the morning to make the health papers.

See General Conditions 2011:
  • All stallions are available via Station S.W.S. Nijhof in Geesteren in Holland.
  • Stud station S.W.S. Nijhof B.V. in Geesteren accept no liability whatsoever for damage, sickness or injury to people, animals, transportation or otherwise.
  • Mares are inseminated entirely at the cost and risk of the owner.
  • Semen must be ordered 24 hours before shipment.
  • The veterinary costs for palpating and scanning(€ 100,- excl. BTW) and medication will be charged directly to the mare holder. This applies to both fresh and frozen semen inseminated at Nijhof Stud.
  • For the stallions that stand at a stud station abroad, the shipping charges are also the responsibility of the mare holder.
  • The shipping charges will be invoiced to you with the studfee 2011.
  • Stud clauses maybe negotiable with more mares.
  • Livery charges in 2011 are € 4.00 (excl. VAT) per mare per day and € 6.00 (excl. VAT) for a mare with foal at foot.
  • At the first order of semen please send us by fax or mail the complete information of the mare and her owner.
  • If you have any questions, problems or complaints then please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
  • When you order fresh or frozen semen from SWS Nijhof B.V. the general terms and conditions of the dutch 'Bond van Hengstenhouderds' in the Netherlands are applied.

EU-station NL-8486 We are certified for the exportation of semen abroad (both fresh and frozen). Please take into account that we need time to organise the health certificates (24 hours notice before 12.00!!!!).

For any questions or special conditions for more than one mare: Tel.: +31 545 481259. (office 08.30 – 17.30 hrs). These stud fees are exclusive VAT, and/or shipping charges and veterinary costs. The veterinary costs for palpating and scanning (€ 100,- excl. VAT) and medication will be charged directly to the mare holder. Shipping charges and health certificate costs for the export of semen outside The Netherlands are the responsibility of the mare holder!
