O’Bailey vh Brouwershof is currently one of the regulars in the Dutch team, with his rider Maikel van der Vleuten O’Bailey proved last year that he can compete with the world top.  

2023 was a great year sports-wise for O’Bailey, as he was crowned Dutch champion in April and jumped clear rounds during the Nations Cups of Rome and Rotterdam. As icing on the cake, O’Bailey was selected for the 2023 European Championships in Milan for Team NL.  

In terms of genes, O’Bailey breathes sport. Both sire Darco, grandsire Contact vd Heffinck, and great-grandsire Chatman jumped at the 1.60M level. Also, a lot of sport can be found through his dam line. Grandmother Topaline is the sister of Olympic champion Jus de Pomme! The same dam produced no less than 5 offspring that are competing at the 1.60M level!  

O’Bailey can fit well on a mare that could use more size and front. Furthermore, he can add a lot of scope to the breeding of show jumpers.
